So Joey DeGraw didn't make it to Oslo afterall.
The european tour, consisting of five gigs, had become just four.
Kuurne, Leicester, Aarhus and Lucerne.
At first I didn't really care.
Then i was disappointed because of all the work I had put in.
And after that I just let it go.
But then one evening, my friend Merete and I went to see a movie.
I took the tram downtown.
We started talking about the gig and how sad it was that it was cancelled.
And then Merete says; "too bad there are no direct flights to Aarhus."
I smiled, because while on the tram, I had seen a poster for Ryanair where it said that they did fly direct. I just said; "well, they do!"
We both looked at each other, thinking it over, and went - almost at the same time -"Naah, probably too expensive anyway."
But of course, we had to take a look, and it turned out that the flight was so cheap it was ridicolous.
So we ended up going to Aarhus with Monica and Sandra and we had such a good time.
The gig Joey played, in a pub called "Bridgewater" was so good.
I had only seen Joey play in front of larger audiences, so a crowd of 50+ people made a real difference.
It was a very intimate gig, with Phil, Andy and Joey making friends with the audience, making fun of each other, and chatting between the songs.
The music, as always, was brilliant!
Now - I'm not getting into it here - but the afterparty.... made my day! :)

A few lovely pics from that night. I miss my friends!! :)
