Hypocrisy or not?

I recently saw the video to a new Miley Cyrus song.
I need to comment.

I know Miley as Hannah Montana. Who doesn't, right?
A cute, somewhat confused, but all together good rolemodel for kids.
And thats just fine.
However, reading the newspaper today, there was a long review of the song and video to "Can't be tamed", and boy oh boy... they sure had some not so nice things to say.
Miley needs to "put more clothes on and be more responsible" - and so on and so on...
I just want to say one thing before I continue this: the Hannah Montana act.. is just that - an act!! Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana are NOT the same person. Okay?

Now, I get the part about continuing to be a good rolemodel and to be responsible is always good.
But come on!! She is 17, and growing up!!!
The video is sexy. Miley looks smashing.
There are no similaritys to Hannah Montana what so ever but Miley is getting a lot of negative attention for this video.
"Can't be tamed" was uploaded may 5th.
It already has a Youtube viewcount of 5.607.113.
Now - is that hypocrisy or not??

Finally!!!

After what feels like forever, my wish has finally come true. Joey DeGraw is coming to Oslo to play! It's been a spring full of emailing, calling and a lot of organizing to try and get Joey a gig over here. It's felt like a ton of work, yet I didn't really get anywhere. Then my friend Monica stepped up and got Joey a gig at a small, but very cozy pub called Buckley's in Oslo. I'm exited. Thats an understatement! I get to see Joey in the city I live in. No fuzz with travelling and no stress what so ever. It will be amazing. All I need to do is to sit down with a drink and enjoy some great music. This summer is saved, no matter what happens, cuz I get to see Joey DeGraw LIVE! :)

Before.

Just thought I'd show you a "before" picture of the room we're fixing up... I'll get more pics as we go.. :)
